Here we are, standing and struggling for our freedom and independence against all odds, despite an apocalyptic damage done to our people and Palestine itself. In the aftermath of October 7th and the ensuing genocidal campaign by Israel, the Jabalya Refugee Camp was leveled, including R and M’s home. Here is a photo of their home after it was destroyed in April 2024.
Then, October 7, 2023, happened, and its aftermath continues with no end in sight through today. Maha, like every Palestinian around the globe, became numb, finding it difficult to focus on anything but our loved ones in Gaza.
