‘Powering Injustice’ examines how foreign trade and investment in Israel’s energy sector may contribute to grave violations of international law being perpetrated by Israel in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including in Gaza. It considers the obligations of states and the responsibilities of companies involved in the supply of energy to Israel.
Then, October 7, 2023, happened, and its aftermath continues with no end in sight through today. Maha, like every Palestinian around the globe, became numb, finding it difficult to focus on anything but our loved ones in Gaza.
The current government’s policies and actions are an apex towards realizing a strategy designed to fulfill a political vision of applying full Israeli sovereignty to the West Bank while establishing a reality of Jewish supremacy and relegating the Palestinians living in the territory to the smallest possible geographical area.
